Professor Greg Whyte OBE specialises in the scientific side of sport and has become renowned worldwide as a leading authority on exercise and fitness. As an Olympic speaker, Greg can draw on his extensive knowledge of physiology and physical performance as well as his time as a modern pentathlete.
The Professor’s athletic past includes winning a bronze medal at the European Championships and a silver medal at the World Championships, as well as taking part in the Olympic Games in the modern pentathlon.
Described by one national newspaper as “the man redefining fitness”, Greg Whyte is often called in to help celebrities get into peak condition if they are doing charity-based challenges. Awarded an OBE in 2014 for his services to charity, sport and sport science, Greg Whyte is a former chairman of the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young – he is an acknowledged expert on the human heart – and is currently a fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science.
