International Motorcycle Speedway Rider

Henrik Gustafsson

International motorcycle speedway rider and Olympic speaker, Gustafsson knows what it’s like to be at the very pinnacle of a chosen sport.

Individually, the Swedish rider was Swedish Under-21 Champion every year from 1986 to 1989 and he was the Swedish Champion in 1995 and 2000. As for the team honours won by Gustaffson, he was World Pairs Champion in 1993; World Team Cup winner in 1994 and 2000; the Swedish Pairs Champion in 1994; the Polish League Championship winner in 1993, 1997, 1998 and 2000; and the Craven Shield Winner and Danish League Champion in 2005.

Henka’s international career has seen him riding for Germany in 1990, Poland between 1992 and 2003, and for Great Britain between 1990 and 2005. His time in the UK saw him ride in the British Elite League for the King’s Lynn Stars, followed by a spell with the Belle Vue Aces.

The Olympic speaker also rode for the Poole Pirates and the Oxford Cheetahs in 2005.

Audiences love to hear Henrik’s tales of what life is like in such an adrenalin-pumping sport, where being a strong individual performer is just as important as being a team player, where dedication and commitment are just as vital as pure talent and unbridled enthusiasm and passion.
