One of cycling’s most decorated and celebrated personalities, Sir Bradley Wiggins CBE is a respected Olympic speaker available to speak at conferences and events. A hero both on the road and the track, Wiggins is a five-time Olympic gold medallist and the 2012 winner of the Tour De France. In his first Commonwealth Games in 1998, Wiggins won a silver medal in the 4000m team pursuit. Following a period of gradual development, he won his first senior gold medal at the 2003 World Cycling Championships, winning the individual pursuit. The following year at the Athens 2004 Olympics, Wiggins won his first Olympic gold medal by winning the individual pursuit by 4 seconds! He won two more medals at the games, one silver and one bronze and became the first British athlete for over 40 years to win more than 2 medals at a single Olympic Games. Following this amazing achievement, Wiggins was appointed an OBE for his services to sport.

His breakthrough in the Tour de France came in 2009. Following the disqualification of Lance Armstrong for doping offences, Wiggins finished third and became the first British cyclist in history to finish on the podium. In 2010, Wiggins moved to Team Sky and two years later in 2012, he won the Tour De France and became the rider in history to win the Tour de Romandie, Paris-Nice, Critérium du Dauphiné, and the Tour de France in one season.

That same year, Sir Bradley competed in the London 2012 Olympics and won the time trial, and with this, his seventh Olympic medal the Britain became the most decorated Olympian his country had ever had. He also set a new Guinness World Record becoming the only man ever to win both in the same year, both the Tour de France and Olympic gold. Winning the team pursuit, Wiggins won his fifth and last Olympic gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
