She made history once again at the 2017 European Gymnastics Championships at Cluj-Napoca, being the first British woman to win the all-around at a major international championship. In 2019, after being selected for the 2019 Poland European Championships, Ellie earned a bronze medal in the Vault final. In the same year, she was selected for the 2019 Stuttgart World Championships, followed by a place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
