Olympic Curler With An Incredible 13 Gold Medals

Olympic speaker and curling star Eve Muirhead has an incredible 13 gold medals, five silvers and a bronze, which she won at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

Representing Scotland, Eve has dominated the sport in recent years, having won gold medals at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. She has also won golds at the Scottish Women’s Curling Championships in Perth in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

The Olympic speaker also won gold medals at the European Curling Championships of 2011 and the European Mixed Championships of 2012.

Also at the European Curling Championships, Eve Muirhead won silver medals in 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015, achieving a bronze in 2014. And in the World Championships, the Olympic speaker came second in 2010 and first in 2013.

In 2015, Eve, billed in the media as ‘the ice queen’, was diagnosed with coeliac disease which she is helping to manage with a gluten-free diet. Also known for breaking her curling broom at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Olympic speaker has proved to be extremely popular with audiences at many different kinds of private and corporate events.
