Joanna Drinkhall, originally Parker, is a British table tennis player famous for appearing at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and winning a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. An alumnus of the now-defunct National Table Tennis Academy in Nottingham, this popular Olympic Speaker spent four years learning the ropes before going on to ply her trade in Berlin. A wonderful talent who continues to stand out in the world of table tennis, Joanna often uses her experiences to motivate audiences across the world.
Joanna has won national singles titles at every age group and Senior levels including a girls’ doubles titles at Under-12, Cadet and Junior and both women’s and mixed doubles at Senior level.
In 2013 she married fellow table tennis star and doubles partner Paul Drinkhall, bringing together the two biggest British talents of the sport in holy matrimony. As a speaker, Joanna is known to discuss topics such as peak performance and maximising success, two topics she believes have been influential in her rise through the ranks.
Following her gold medal-winning appearance at the 2014 Olympics, Joanna embarked on a tour of the UK where she worked as an Olympic speaker not only at live events but also on television and radio.
