Currently leading the way in breaststroke, Peaty has won over 30 gold medals and broke 11 world records. He was won a number of different awards in his young, successful career. After winning three gold medals at the World Championships in Kazan, Peaty was named the Best Male Swimming Performance at the 2015 FINA Awards. One year later and Peaty received the same award after the 2016 Olympic Games. Peaty won the Male European Swimmer of the Year five years in a row between 2014 and 2018 as well as being named the Male World Swimmer of the Year on two occasions by Swimming World Magazine. He was also awarded an MBE in 2017 for his services to swimming.
