Axel Brown is respected globally for representing Trinidad and Tobago as a professional bobsledder. Entering the world of bobsledding in 2014, Axel devoted just 8 years of rigorous training to the sport before competing at an Olympic level. Beginning his professional career by competing for Great Britain, he gained the opportunity to compete in the World Cup, Northern American Cup, and Europe Cup. Recognising his strong talent for the sport, Axel placed fifth in his first North American Cup season and developed a respected reputation throughout the industry. Making the decision to represent his mother’s homeland, Trinidad and Tobago, in 2021, Axel was part of the first team to represent Trinidad and Tobago in a Winter Olympic Games since 2002.

An extremely talented sportsman, Axel competed in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics as part of a two-man bobsledding team. Placing 28th in their first heat, 27th in the second, and 28th in the third, the team secured an overall finish of 28th place, the highest finish for Trinidad and Tobago in any previous Olympic Games. Continuing his successful journey, Axel became the first Caribbean bobsleigh pilot to ever finish on the podium in a four-man race. Treasured by sports fans around the world, Axel and his remarkable team have become legends over recent years in the world of bobsledding.
