Biography

Charlotte Worthington has wowed audiences with her agile tricks in BMX, claiming various World and European Championships titles and Olympic victory. A fast-paced sport, that at times can be dangerous, Charlotte has continually had audiences gasping at her quick tricks. Qualifying to represent Team GB at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Charlotte is now a popular choice as a speaker for events of all kinds, booked to inspire audiences to follow in her footsteps in this unique and exciting sport.

Taking up BMXing seriously aged 20, Charlotte has since gone on to claim countless victories. Accepted to join the Great Britain Cycling Team programme, Charlotte claimed her first major victory with a Bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Freestyle Park. Truly talented in freestyle BMX, Charlotte later went on to claim Gold at the 2019 European Championships and Bronze at the 2021 World Championships competing in Freestyle Park. Continuing her training at Adrenaline Alley and Asylum Skate Park, Charlotte is a promising athlete with many more exhilarating performances yet to come.

Having shown her promise as an athlete in World and European Championships, Charlotte qualified to represent Team GB in BMX Freestyle at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. After their postponement by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Charlotte competed in Tokyo in 2021 and claimed an Olympic Gold in the Freestyle BMX. Making headlines for her extremely difficult trick of the 360 backflip, Charlotte scored an almost faultless score of 97.50 and landed herself in 1st place. A true testament to her talent in the BMX, Charlotte is inspiring other women to get into the sport.

Having been part of the 26 strong cycling team for Team GB and claimed a succession of victories, Charlotte is set to continue her winning streak. A true inspiration to all, Charlotte is pioneering the world of BMX and inspiring others to follow in her footsteps. Having performed one of the hardest tricks created in the sport of BMX, Charlotte is now booked as a speaker for corporate and public events to share how she trained to perform such a trick. Having displayed immense perseverance, determination and courage, Charlotte Worthington is a fantastic sports speaker to have appear at events of all kinds.
