Biography

Chris Gregory is a former Team GB volleyball player who has dedicated more than a decade to elite sport and performance psychology. Now head of health and fitness at C4 Executive Health, he channels the knowledge gained from competing against the world’s best into transforming the physical and mental resilience of executives and business leaders. With a unique perspective shaped by international competition, he understands that achieving success requires the right mindset, consistent habits, and a purposeful approach to wellbeing. His work today reflects the same commitment and determination that defined his sporting career.

Chris’s journey in professional sport began when he was selected through Sir Steve Redgrave’s Sporting Giants programme, a nationwide search for world-class potential ahead of the London Olympic Games. Identified for his height, strength, and athletic promise, he joined Team GB’s development pathway and swiftly rose through the ranks. His international debut followed at the Under 21 World Championships in beach volleyball, marking the start of a career that would see him compete across the globe and continually push his boundaries. Chris learned early that the life of an athlete is shaped as much by disciplined routines and recovery as it is by training hours and competition results.

Over time, Chris amassed eight international medals and became a five-time British Champion, while also representing Team England at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. His appearances at the Volleyball World Cup solidified his reputation as a resilient and highly skilled competitor. Beyond sport, he has extended his influence into health leadership, guiding clients at C4 Executive Health with a holistic approach that blends performance coaching, tailored fitness support, and specialist nutrition expertise. He also founded Endure Skin Care and has embraced creativity through film, with cameo roles in Star Wars, The Avengers, and 28 Years Later.

Chris’s real strength as a sporting and Olympic speaker lies in his ability to translate high-performance behaviours into actionable strategies for corporate audiences. He speaks with authenticity about overcoming setbacks, managing pressure, and sustaining motivation across long-term goals. His keynote messages focus on adaptability, consistency, belief, and the power of environments that encourage growth. Whether energising teams or supporting senior leadership development, Chris inspires audiences to adopt a champion’s mindset and unlock their potential, making him a compelling addition to conferences, leadership events, and wellbeing programmes.
