Megan Keith is an exceptional long-distance runner and sports speaker who has rapidly risen through the ranks to become one of Great Britain’s most celebrated young athletes. Her journey is a testament to her dedication, resilience and extraordinary talent. Beginning her athletic career in orienteering, Megan made history by becoming the first female to win Gold for Great Britain at the European Youth Orienteering Championships in 2018. She followed this remarkable achievement with another groundbreaking victory in 2019, securing the first-ever British Gold at the Junior World Orienteering Championships. These early successes earned her the prestigious title of Scottish Young Sportswoman of the Year at the Scottish Women in Sport Awards, marking her as a rising star in the world of athletics.

Transitioning from orienteering to cross country, Megan's ascent continued with a stunning Gold medal at the 2021 European U20 Cross Country Championships. Her dominance in the sport was further solidified in 2022 when she became both the British and Scottish U23 Cross Country Champion. Megan’s momentum carried her into 2023, where she achieved double Gold at the European Cross Country Championships, showcasing her exceptional endurance and competitive spirit on the international stage. That same year, she represented Team GB at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships, further establishing herself as a formidable force in long-distance running.

In 2024, Megan’s career reached new heights. She proudly represented Team GB at the Paris Olympic Games, finishing 23rd in a highly competitive 10,000m field. Later that year, she earned a Bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships in the 10,000m, setting both a European U23 Record and a British U23 Record - a remarkable feat that underscores her incredible talent and potential.
