The drive and passion that define Poppy’s career began at a young age. At just 11 years old, she boldly declared to her coach her ambition to compete at the Olympics. This unyielding commitment has seen her rise through the ranks to become a multiple world champion in the S14 Intellectually Impaired classification. Her journey is a testament to her belief in hard work and the power of perseverance. At the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, Poppy delivered an inspiring performance, claiming three Gold and two Silver Paralympic medals. In every race, Poppy has demonstrated a tenacity that is truly inspiring, making her an ideal keynote speaker for events focused on overcoming challenges and achieving greatness. Her services to swimming have been recognised by an MBE title in the 2025 New Year's Honours list.

Poppy’s influence extends beyond the pool. As a motivational speaker, she brings a fresh perspective on facing adversity, pushing limits, and achieving one’s goals. Her engaging talks, filled with personal anecdotes and lessons from her sporting career, resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Poppy's story inspires others to embrace their challenges with the same grit and determination that has characterised her path to success.
