Biography

‘Unprecedented’ is the word that comes to mind when reporting that Ainslie managed to win consecutive gold medals at four Olympic Games between 2000 in Sydney and 2012 in London. His efforts within major sporting events can only be described as extraordinary, achieving what no man ever has before, Ainslie is regarded as a Great British legend.

The medals drawer of Sir Ben is dominated by the colour gold – only five of his 17 medals are silver (one from the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games) or bronze (four won between 1996 and 2009). As an Olympic speaker, Ainslie discusses his remarkable sporting career but touches on the drive and determination required to be successful. He is considered an expert in peak performance and maximising success which ensures his speeches are both inspirational and motivational.

Obviously Britain’s most successful Olympic sailor in history, the Olympic speaker set up his own Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) company in 2014. A year later it was rebranded as Land Rover BAR and came to incorporate some of Britain’s brightest specialists in design, building and sailing. Creating his own business has allowed Ainslie to become a great businessman and he can use his sporting experiences to effectively manage his business. As a speaker, he can inspire an audience of any size with his incredible stories and inspiring anecdotes.

He is known to discuss vital business-related topics such as peak performance and dealing with pressure, two topics Ainslie showed copious amount of throughout his sporting career.
